Dr. Dan last presented in our 2020 Fall series and is back popular demand. Dr. Dan is frequently involved in research trials for emerging AID systems and has a wealth of clinical experience with the currently available and emerging systems. In this session he will share clinical tips for supporting children and youth along the path from starting and using real-time continuous glucose monitoring (RT-CGM) to considering an automated insulin delivery (AID) system. Based on his US experience over the last few years using the Basal-IQ and Control-IQ systems, Dr. Dan will also share his clinical pearls for success in the transition to AID with the Dexcom G6 sensor.
