Description

Fear, anxiety, and stress is often intensified as teens adapt to swirling hormones, changing eating patterns and insulin requirements, body image issues, and family stresses related to “passing the torch” of diabetes management. Does diabetes technology help or hinder living life with diabetes at this turbulent time? Great question! This session will share stories that illustrate practical tips for an empathetic approach that is attentive to anxiety levels and helps to build problem solving abilities and comfort with technology.
